Stroud Festival - Grants

Currently, Stroud Festival provides Grants each year to local artists and performers whose projects require sponsorship in order to reach the widest possible audience.

Applicants must present an outline of a performance, show, workshop or exhibition which will be of interest to the public, and the Committee meets approximately 6 times a year to discuss and make their selection.

Grants are normally given in amounts up to £500 but larger sums are occasionally made available to exceptional projects.

Past events supported by Stroud Festival have included Youth Drama performances, Film Festivals showcasing local film makers’ work, poetry slams, art and photographic exhibitions – the list goes on! Most recently, Stroud Festival facilitated and sponsored activities as part of the Laurie Lee Centenary Celebrations in 2014
