Stroud Festival - Grants

Currently, Stroud Festival provides small grants each year to local artists, performers and educators whose projects require sponsorship in order to reach the widest possible audience.

Applicants must present an outline of a performance, show, workshop or exhibition which will be of interest to the public, and the Committee meets approximately 6 times a year to discuss and make their selection.

Grants are normally given in amounts up to £500 and paid in two instalments. Larger sums are occasionally made available to exceptional projects.

Past events supported by Stroud Festival have included Youth Drama shows, Youth Film Festivals showcasing local film makers’ work, poetry slams, art and photographic exhibitions, sculpture installations – the list goes on!
